Genomic Health® at ASCO 2009
The American Society of Clinical Oncology’s 45th annual meeting is right around the corner, and many of you may be traveling to Orlando for the latest scientific updates and data presentations in the field of cancer research. At this year’s ASCO, there will be three abstracts featuring Genomic Health research, including an oral presentation of the QUASAR validation study of our colon cancer test.
For those of you who will be in Orlando this year, we encourage you to attend the following sessions to hear more about the Genomic Health data:
- Oral Abstract Session – Saturday, May 30, 2009
Gastrointestinal (Colorectal) Cancer
3:00PM – 3:15PM
Level 2, West Hall D2
Abstract# 4000: Individualizing prediction of recurrence and benefit of adjuvant 5-fluorouracil/leucovorin (5FU/LV) in stage II colon cancer: Identification and selection of 18 genes from 4 independent studies in 1851 patients
- Clinical Science Symposium – Sunday, May 31, 2009
Basal-Like and Triple-Negative Breast Cancer: Definition and Therapeutic Insights
4:30PM – 5:00PM
Level 2, West Hall D2
Abstract# 500: Genotypic characterization of phenotypically defined triple-negative breast cancer.
- General Poster Session – Monday, June 1, 2009
Breast Cancer – Local-Regional and Adjuvant Therapy
1:00PM – 5:00PM
Level 2, West Hall C
Abstract# 549: Molecular characterization of male breast cancer by standardized quantitative RT-PCR analysis: First large genomic study of 347 male breast cancers compared to 82,434 female breast cancers.
In order to allow advocates not attending the meeting to learn about the latest Genomic Health data, we will be hosting a conference call in late June with our Medical Affairs group to discuss these abstracts. Details regarding this post-ASCO call will be announced in the coming weeks.
