With input from advocates, nurses, breast cancer surgeons, and medical oncologists, we have created a set of education tools designed for patients who are newly diagnosed with breast cancer. Thanks to many of you in the community who have taken the time to provide feedback on these resources, we have two comprehensive videos, several brochures, and a detailed surgeon and patient guidebook available, designed to help breakdown the science of genomics and aid newly diagnosed patients as they create an individualized treatment plan.

Oncotype DX patient education video – available online and in DVD format
This 14-minute video was designed as a tool to help newly diagnosed patients and their loved ones better understand Oncotype DX and engage in more informed, empowered discussions with their healthcare providers about the test.
The video also features the experience of two patients that used the Oncotype DX test to make their adjuvant treatment decision. We have posted the video on our websites at http://www.mytreatmentdecision.com/250-video-center.aspx and http://www.oncotypedx.com/PatientCaregiver/Index.aspx, and DVDs available for ordering as well.
MyTreatmentDecision.com patient brochure
This brochure introduces patients to the MyTreatmentDecision.com website, which is designed for anyone who is newly diagnosed with breast cancer. The website shares the unique stories of many different patients who have used Oncotype DX as part of their treatment planning process.
Oncotype DX patient brochure
This brief brochure (available in English, Spanish, and Chinese) is designed to educate newly diagnosed patients with early-stage breast cancer about Oncotype DX, with the goal of helping them make more informed treatment decisions in partnership with their healthcare providers.
Oncotype DX surgeon and patient guide and treatment journal
This comprehensive guide is designed to help patients better understand their treatment options – from surgery to adjuvant therapy – and facilitate the treatment decision making process.
My Breast Cancer Coach postcard
This postcard introduces My Breast Cancer Coach – an interactive online tool for newly diagnosed patients, who are seeking relevant information about their specific breast cancer diagnosis. This program was created in collaboration with Breast Cancer Network of Strength and Breastcancer.org.
Genomic Health lab video – available online and in DVD format
In addition to these print materials, we have also created an “About Us” video. This twelve minute DVD explains how we’re turning the promise of genomics into the practice of medicine. We have posted the video on our website (http://www.genomichealth.com/Company/LabVideo.aspxl) and have DVDs available.
